Data Protection Law

Due to the continuous development of technology and innovation but also to the rise of threats to individuals’ privacy, KKP has formed a Data Protection Team to provide related legal services including the following:

• Full spectrum of advisory services in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR) including:
  • Helping companies understand their current compliance status.
  • Assisting companies to develop a robust Privacy Management Framework.
  • Supporting companies to sustain their Privacy Management Framework and respond to all kinds of challenges in accordance with the GDPR.
  • Developing legal documents and procedures to help companies demonstrate compliance with GDPR, such as Data Protection Policy, Personal Data Inventory, Data Subject Requests Policy, Data Breach Response Plan, Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), Data Processing Agreements with sub-contractors etc.
  • Providing DPO support service to companies to assist them and their DPO in maintaining their Privacy Management Framework and demonstrating ongoing compliance with Data Protection Law.
• Advisory services regarding privacy and electronic communications, including consumers’ fundamental rights to privacy and personal data protection.

Our Data Protection Team has been offering its services to private companies from a wide range of industries including IT, banking, construction and development, education, sports, hospitality, research, digital marketing, food & beverage, consulting and pharmaceutical; and Public organisations such as Municipalities and Sewerage Boards.
